#DIYInterior The island countertop suddenly bothered me, so I just went ahead and put up mosaic tiles lol. I'm a power PPP type, so if I suddenly get hooked on something, I just have to do it lol. I was thinking of just leaving the grout on and using it roughly, but I figured dust might get in through the gaps, so I went ahead and did the grouting too 😆. I'm the type to make a big fuss 😂. The tiles didn't fit really awkwardly because of that induction cooktop, (That part really annoys me... 🙄). I was debating if I should cut the tiles to fit, but since I don't use it much anyway, I used a trick to cover it up with a stainless steel cutting board 😁. It looks totally seamless, right! I haven't even put up tiles over that spot yet. Let's just live life roughly lol. I was debating whether to use white grout, but I thought I wouldn't be able to handle the dirt accumulating on it, so I went with light gray, and I'm totally satisfied! Haha. What do you think? I really love it lol. I asked my husband what he thought, and he said, "You did a good job," but his look already gave off the vibe of, "Why bother...?"🤣 lol.
