Preparing ingredients to make Budae Jjigae at home can be a bit of a hassle, but since you just need to add water and boil it, I especially recommend this product to those living alone. It doesn't take long to cook, so it seems perfect for a late dinner or when you want to grab a quick meal! ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ณ Above all, I was surprised by how much richer the broth tasted than I expected. The characteristic heavy and spicy flavor of Budae Jjigae was well-preserved, and perhaps because it contains Namhae garlic, the umami taste felt much richer than regular Budae Jjigae. Also, I was satisfied because there was quite a generous amount of ham. Instant products often leave something to be desired in terms of ingredients, but this product had plenty of sausage and ham, so it had a great chewy texture and felt much more filling. It was fine on its own, but personally, I think it would go really well with added ramen noodles, and adding a little more tofu or green onions would make it even more hearty! Even though it is a convenience food, the broth tasted quite rich and felt like a properly cooked Budae Jjigae, so it was a satisfying meal. I especially recommend this for people living alone or office workers, and I think it would be great for camping too! ๐ฒโจ This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #OgamReview program.
