A Smart Choice for a Kitchen with a Great View, 📍 Ceiling-mounted Hood!! When planning the kitchen, the most important thing I considered was not blocking the view from the floor-to-ceiling window. The frameless window, created by extending the veranda, is the biggest focal point of our kitchen, so I carefully considered the hood design to ensure it wouldn't obstruct the view. I felt that a standard hood or an island hood would detract from the view outside and the sense of openness, so I chose a ceiling-mounted hood. 👍🏻 Thanks to this, the area above the cooking space remains neatly clear, and I am satisfied because the view outside the window is the first thing you see when you enter the kitchen. 😄 However, when actually cooking, I use an induction cooktop shield to help catch oil splatters and smoke a little more.
