It isn't big, but it's a space where I find joy in gradually filling it with things I love. I wanted to create a proper home cafe vibe, so I got a wooden cupboard, and started filling the empty compartments one by one with small cups and accessories. I didn't have many pieces of tableware at first, but before I knew it, the collection grew, just like how my tastes accumulate. Lately, I've been particularly obsessed with stripe patterns, so I'm hooked on the fun of collecting cups and plates with similar textures. When patterns that are similar in tone yet subtly different come together, the space feels more organized while also serving as a subtle focal point. Once the cupboard was full, it created a much more "cafe-like" atmosphere, which made me feel proud for no reason, and I added a touch of seasonality by placing fresh flowers on the small table. When the sunlight streams in, this space looks even warmer, so there are moments where just sitting here for a moment makes me feel good. I had lost some interest in wood tones for a while, but lately, as my heart has been drawn back to this warm texture, my taste for wood is naturally seeping into this space. Rather than a finished space yet, it is my own little home cafe that I am still building.
