#SpecialCreator #ClassReview [Part 1 - Vegetable Sushi Edition] I attended the Today's House Special Creator May Special Class. The theme of this class was making vegetable sushi, conveying the meaningful message: "A Table of Peace: You Are What You Eat." The special lecture was led by Ms. Moon Sung-hee, who is famous for natural and temple cuisine. Beyond simply learning to cook, the in-depth stories were truly impressive, prompting us to calmly reflect on "what I eat and how I live." The sushi made using vegetables and flowers was not only beautiful to look at but also tasted excellent. The natural flavors were so alive that I felt a sense of physical comfort. As someone who personally loves flowers, I was truly happy throughout the class because this vegetable sushi, which captured the natural colors of the vegetables and flowers, was so pretty. My dream is to retire someday and move to the countryside with my husband, tending to a small garden filled with delicate flowers. Imagining myself making and eating healthy meals with flowers and vegetables I grew myself, just like today, made my later years feel healthier, more relaxed, and, above all, more beautiful. As I get older, I have been making small plans for my retirement one by one, and I think this class has added another one to those plans. It was also very impressive to have the time spent recording the "inner voice"—felt through a sensory map and my body, mind, and spirit—while tasting the seed paste and seed paste caramel made by Instructor Moon Sung-hee, as well as feldspar (salt crystals formed during the fermentation process) and feldspar cookies.
