As a coffee novice, my dream of owning the right equipment is growing, and I am realizing why equipment is so important! Using a bottomless portafilter has led me to study more about the Breville machine I currently use. It seems that equipment is something you can never use, but you can't just use once. As a coffee novice, I always experienced channeling whenever I brewed coffee, but after using the Beanplant Soaking Pouch to loosen the clumps of beans and also using a screen, I can feel that the channeling has significantly decreased. When I compared brewing before and after, I realized I had quite a few problems...?
