When dividing flowers, I use vases, but I also use wine glasses, put them in small glass salt jars, place clear glass cups inside mini white flowerpots, and even use an object I bought at Modern House a long time ago. I find that arranging flowers in various cups, even if they aren't vases, is fun and therapeutic in my own way. Then, I gather them on a corner of the dining table to fill my eyes with healing.
