I made up my mind to fix it up, piece by piece👍 1️⃣ Flooring: Decotile The floor was the number one drawback!!! I absolutely had to change it!!! After comparing various flooring materials, I decided on decotile because it looked neat and easy to maintain💛 I chose the terrazzo pattern because I thought it would suit the space best, rather than solid colors or subtle patterns! 2️⃣ Shoe Cabinet Bench Since the shoe cabinet in our old building isn't very spacious, the size was the most important factor! It is narrow, and the chair height and length are just right..! I chose the Lark (truly an excellent choice✨👍) It fits perfectly with our black interior, and I am satisfied with the product because the design is clean and minimal! 3️⃣ Narrow Storage Cabinet - I wish I could check myself in the mirror before heading out! - I need a place to store things I forget every day, like car keys, lip balm, and trash cards! - That is exactly what our home is! I immediately measured the size, bought a storage cabinet that fit, and applied adhesive film in the color I wanted (black wood texture) ☺️ 4️⃣ Entrance Curtain Our entrance is directly visible from the bathroom 🥲 I considered installing a middle door to block it out, but since it is an old building of an old building, I thought it would feel too stuffy if I put up a middle door as well. I thought a simple curtain would be perfect, so I bought some fabric, made a curtain, and secured it using a wooden rod and IKEA hooks 💛 There are still many areas that need improvement, but now I can manage to look a bit dim 🫣
