#구축사용설명서 We completely remodeled our 35-year-old apartment!🏠 It was tough because we had to pay attention to everything from the materials to the furniture..! But I am so satisfied with the result that I wanted to share it🤍 ✔️Living Room We completely removed the existing cherry wood molding and installed new wallpaper and flooring. We decided not to extend the veranda and keep it as is, so we matched the curtains with linen to let in soft light✨ ✔️Bathrooms We decorated the two bathrooms—one in the master bedroom and one in the living room—with the same design! We installed oatmeal-colored travertine tiles and matched the toilet, towel rack, and toilet paper holder with #아메리칸스탠다드 :) ✔️Master Bedroom We decided to keep the built-in wardrobe in the master bedroom as is. Instead, we replaced the adhesive film and handles to make it look brand new 🤍 Similarly, since we didn't extend the veranda in the master bedroom of the older building, the middle window remains. We preserved the original shape of this middle window and transformed it into a cozy atmosphere using #셀프메이커 and #로만쉐이드 curtains! ✔️Kitchen This is a common drawback of older buildings: a narrow and long kitchen layout. We also agonized over the refrigerator placement because of this structure ㅠㅠ As you can see in the before photos, the layout was blocked by the refrigerator, making it look cramped.. In the end, we built a partition wall to move the refrigerator into a new space, and remodeled the kitchen area so that only the countertop and dining table could fit in! It feels much more open, and I think it makes the best use of the vertically elongated kitchen layout! 👀 Older buildings have their own unique structural features, but if utilized well, the charm of each space can be maximized!
