#인테리어노하우 #콘수프기록집 An Interior I Was Satisfied With Even Though I Didn't Do It 🏡🤍 Before I started the interior design, I looked at photos of beautiful homes and thought, "I absolutely have to do this!" However, since my budget was limited and I had practically gone all-in on the house price, I made my choices after a lot of deliberation. But after living here, I realized that choosing what fits our lifestyle is much more important than blindly opting for expensive construction or trendy interiors.ᐟ 1️⃣ Not Installing a Recessed TV At first, I really wanted to do it. But installing a recessed TV requires more carpentry work than I expected, and the wall would stick out about 10 to 15 cm forward 🥲 Although our house is in the 30-pyeong range, the living room isn't exactly open due to load-bearing walls. I felt it might actually make the space look more cramped and stuffy, and the additional costs for electrical wiring and carpentry were quite high, so I gave up on the idea. And I felt like there would be restrictions later on when rearranging the furniture or changing the TV's location. These days, even wall-mounted TVs feel like they limit the variety of furniture arrangements available, so I can understand why people live with only portable TVs... .ᐟ 2️⃣ Not installing a bathroom partition (shower booth) I was really worried about water splashing, but after living in my previous home, I realized that water splashes everywhere anyway, even with a partition. 😂 Also, if you neglect cleaning even a little, water stains form on the glass really quickly... I remember giving up on removing water stains in my previous officetel, so this time I boldly got rid of them. 🥲 But actually, removing them made the bathroom look much more spacious, and cleaning was easier, so I am satisfied. If I turn on the exhaust fan and leave the door open after a shower, it dries quickly, and it’s surprisingly convenient not having to deal with water stains on the glass.🤍 3️⃣ Choosing Vinyl Flooring Because of budget constraints, I worried a lot about where I could cut costs. I couldn't give up on silk wallpaper, and since I figured I would install floor mats anyway once I have a child, I chose vinyl flooring for the floor! But vinyl flooring is really well-made these days.🥹 There is a huge variety of designs and thicknesses, and even though I installed the 2.2T line, which is the most cost-effective option, I am satisfied. I originally liked the look of wide plank wood flooring, so I wanted to avoid patterns that were too fine. (Personally, I was a bit disappointed that the wood flooring pattern was too dense, making it feel a bit dated 🥲) The vinyl flooring I chose feels like wide plank wood, so it looks much more luxurious than I expected, and the warm/cool tone vibe subtly shifts depending on the light ✨ Above all, I am satisfied because it is easy to clean and I have almost no stress about scratches from daily use. The flooring in the officetel I lived in before was made of a material that scratched really easily, so I almost developed trypophobia 😂, but I’m actually living more comfortably and carefree now. Also, the price difference was quite significant, so it really helped a lot in saving on my budget! (It felt like almost a 2x difference) In interior design, ultimately, the most important thing isn't necessarily the most expensive option, but choosing what fits your budget and lifestyle 🏡🤍 #DatedBuildingInterior {2 #InteriorTips} {3 #NewlywedHomeInterior} {4 #DIYInterior} {5 #TodaysHome}
