OHOSE SPECIAL CLASS ‘SENSE OF TASTE’ A Table of Peace, You Are What You Eat The Special Creator Offline Class was held last Sunday at Ongo Food in Bukchon, a place with a wonderful atmosphere. I left at 9 am and didn't get home until 10 pm, but despite the hot weather, the time spent meeting welcome people, taking the class, and having tea time was truly precious in itself 🤍 On this day, we first took the time to focus on our sense of taste by listening to a lecture imbued with the philosophy of Moon Sung-hee, a master of natural cooking, and tasting four different dishes. I fell in love with the deep umami flavor of Jangseok. After the lecture, we also tried making vegetable sushi ourselves. She prepared vegetables cooked with really simple seasonings like salt, soy sauce, and oil, but I couldn't help but wonder why the flavors were so deep 🍆🍄🟫. Perhaps everyone felt the same way, as there was a constant stream of "Mmm~" sounds from all around. It really made me realize that you have to use high-quality basic ingredients. Although I ended up with the strange conclusion that I need to go shopping for soy sauce and salt 🙃 Lately, cooking has been such a hassle that my mind has been filled with thoughts of how to easily grab a quick meal. However, I felt deeply that I have been neglecting myself, even though what I eat defines who I am. I resolved to pull myself together and fill myself with healthy ingredients… …! I also felt a deep sense of self-reflection once again when I heard that Ms. Moon Sung-hee made all the clothes she was wearing by hand-stitching them herself. I have a sewing machine at home but haven't even looked at it lately because I'm too busy having fun; I'm going to try to live more diligently 🪡🧵 I would like to express my gratitude to the Today's House staff for their hard work in preparing everything so meticulously this time as well. I will be waiting with great anticipation for the June class (I'll be taking the morning session) :) #TodaysHouse #스페셜크리에이터 #오늘의집크리에이터 #스페셜클래스 #피스풀테이블
