Today, I’m finally revealing our living room for the first time! Yay! 🙈✨ Actually, my fiancé, whom I currently live with, is a total minimalist who owns nothing, and I am a maximalist who isn't satisfied until I’m packed to the bone. So, we are a couple with truly polar opposite personalities..! 🥹 Before we started living together, we made our own peace treaty(?) to avoid clashing over interior design. 🤝 ✔️ I’ll choose pretty furniture that suits my taste! ✔️ Instead, I’ll keep the furniture in the shared space (living room) to a minimum! ✔️ I will absolutely never touch my private room! (My own maximalist world😎) Thanks to this promise, I’ve decorated and am maintaining a minimalist living room 🫧 Since this is my first time living with a shared space completely empty... From my maximalist perspective, it always feels like something is missing... I guess I can't help feeling 2% lacking and empty 🤣💦 (I keep wanting to put up at least one more pretty decorative item, so I’m holding back my fingers...) What do you think of our living room, filled with the aesthetics of emptiness, my Instagram friends? 👀 For those of you who, like us, have found a compromise with a partner whose interior design tastes are completely opposite!
