I found that the narrower the entryway, the more important it is to empty it rather than fill it. In our home, we removed part of the existing pantry and installed a new bench and mirror. We originally built the bench to help the children put on their shoes, but now we use it more often as a space to temporarily place bags or luggage. For the interior door, instead of a bulky sliding door, we chose a double swing door. We used fabric-laminated glass so that light diffuses softly and everyday wear is naturally concealed. Additionally, we installed the bottom of the shoe cabinet with a gap to organize frequently worn shoes in the lower space, keeping the floor as empty as possible so it doesn't look cramped. Even a narrow entryway looks much more spacious just by organizing the lines and visuals
