When decorating my home, I tend to tone down the saturation to tone down eye-catching colors, but when capturing nature, I find it prettier to bring out the colors as much as possible. I thought about why that is... and it seems my preference leans more toward deep and vivid colors. I think I always gravitate toward safe, understated styles because I'm afraid of failing when it comes to decorating. I clearly love it, but I can't easily take on the challenge... My home is in full of those "cowardly moments" 🥹 (though it is certainly overflowing with love...!) But who knows! Maybe one day I'll just grab a dark-colored item and bring it home!
