You're saying scratches on solid wood dining tables can be restored? To start with the answer, it really is possible! However, this doesn't work on all solid wood tables; it is only possible on tables finished with 'natural oil.' For furniture with a thick layer of varnish, there is no solution once the coating breaks. But with a natural oil finish, the wood's pores remain intact. If you reapply oil to the scratched area, the wood absorbs it and completely fills in the scratch. Just lightly sand that spot with fine sandpaper and apply the oil, and it will be restored to look brand new, as if by magic. Not getting stressed every time a scratch appears, and being able to simply wipe it clean and repair it at home—that is the true charm of natural oil-finished solid wood!! If you want to enjoy the charm of furniture aging with a little care, I recommend natural oil. If ease of maintenance is your absolute priority, I recommend varnish! Which maintenance style do you prefer? Coating faction vs. Oil faction 🤎
