I organize frequently used items like tea bags and snacks by type inside drawers, keeping the exterior as tidy as possible. I found that being able to see everything at a glance when opening a drawer makes it easy to find things and convenient to reorganize them. On the open shelves, I tend to only place items I like, such as small cups, decorative items, or things that look like small plants. Instead, I hide everyday items behind curtains or inside drawers to keep the space from looking cluttered. I think the smaller the house, the more important it is to distinguish between what to show and what to hide, rather than trying to hide everything :)
