A truly meaningful class for a first-year country resident who has become someone who eats meals where vegetables from the garden are the main focus. [A Table Filled with Peace: What I Eat Is Who I Am] It wasn't just a time to learn how to cook; it was a wonderful time to slowly awaken our senses and taste while listening to stories imbued with Instructor Moon Sung-hee's philosophy! We had a session tasting feldspar and feldspar-based cookies, as well as feldspar caramel. Interestingly, unlike the others, I felt a strong sourness and a wide variety of flavors. Also, when someone mentioned that I seem to overthink, she helped me organize my thoughts, making it a time where I could internally shed a lot of unnecessary things! (Thank you so much.) She demonstrated how to make vegetable sushi and we even tried making it ourselves. It was so delicious, even without a single piece of meat! I was so fascinated by the taste of shiso leaves, which are similar to the perilla leaves used for plating, that I brought them home separately. While tasting the shiso leaves with Kim Daegam, we talked a lot about ingredients. Since the class, I have been putting more effort into preparing meals, and the memories still linger. I missed my train because I was sad to part ways with the wonderful people I hadn't seen in a long time, haha. But thanks to that, it became an even more unforgettable day! Still, I'll make sure to leave early from now on! It was also so nice to meet the Today's House hosts who always plan such great classes, and I'm so grateful! See you again in June! #TodaysHouse #스페셜크리에이터 #오늘의집크리에이터 #스페셜클래스 #피스풀테이블 #플레이팅 #야채초밥 #식용꽃
