How to Neatly Hide an Emergency Descent Device ๐Ÿ‘€ The biggest headache after moving in was the emergency descent device in the bedroom. It was large, couldn't be removed, and wouldn't even sit flush against the wall, so I really agonized over how to hide it. The bedroom curtain box was made a bit unusually shallow. Because the brackets extended downwards, I realized that if I extended the tension curtain rod, it would reach the area where the device is located. Since the extension end of the tension rod is thinner, I was worried it wouldn't be able to support the weight of the curtain clips and the curtain, but in the end, it is holding up stably! Thanks to the design on the landscape fabric curtain I already had, I was able to hide the large device so it wouldn't stand out. ๐Ÿž๏ธ Although the mood doesn't quite match the beige curtains I chose because I wanted a warm tone for the bedroom, I am satisfied with how neatly I was able to conceal the device. โœŒ๐Ÿป (Of course, it still sticks out when viewed from the side... I'm trying to ignore it.) I'm posting this so it might be helpful to know that this method exists! #CornSoupRecord #InteriorKnowHow #HidingTheEmergencyDescent #FabricCurtains #BlackoutCurtains #CurtainRecommendations #StudioApartmentInterior #StudioApartmentDecor #AestheticInterior #BedroomInterior #BedroomDecor #LivingAlone #StudioApartment #FollowForFollow #FollowBack #Communication
