This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #오감리뷰 program. The food waste disposer has always been on my wish list! I finally got to try it out. I had been thinking I absolutely had to get one before this summer arrived, and I started with Cuckoo. It is so incredibly convenient because Cuckoo eats up everything: uneaten fruit, leftovers, spoiled side dishes, and expired ingredients. I don't have to go outside dripping with food waste anymore. Now that fruit flies are starting to appear, I can just run the day's worth after finishing the evening dishes, so I don't have to worry about them. If it were loud, I wouldn't be able to run it before bed, but since there is absolutely no noise throughout the entire operation, I love being able to run it comfortably even late at night! I heard from an acquaintance who was already using a competitor's food waste disposer that it eventually turned into a sticky mess or stuck to the bottom, so they said I had to choose carefully. However, I was amazed that Cuckoo has an anti-sticking feature; even when I put rice or soup in, it didn't stick at all and turned into a powder form. Also, the smell it emits while operating isn't unpleasant but rather pleasantly savory... so I'm truly experiencing a whole new world these days, freed from the smell of food waste.
