Calling all those whose switches, intercoms, or wall pads didn't fit! 👋 Ugly boilers and switches! I wanted to cover them up, but unfortunately, ready-made sliding picture frames didn't fit. After much deliberation, I saw what Shinina (@shin.2na) did! So, I decided to bring my thoughts to life! 🏷️Materials - 35-width 3-section ball bearing rail (450mm) - IKEA Rødalm 3-panel frame (50cm) 📍Precautions 1. If you attach the ball bearing to the frame's edge: - The top part of the ball bearing will be exposed above the frame. 2. Attach plywood to the frame's edge to extend the frame, then attach the bearing to the extended plywood. - If you use the plywood from the back of the frame, you do not need to purchase it separately. - The frame border is thin, so you need to position it carefully. 3. If the switch protrudes slightly, it may not open smoothly. 4. If you install the rail both at the top and bottom, you can hang it without it tilting. If you install the rail only at the top, you can use it even if the switch protrudes slightly. 5. It is easier to insert the rail rod if the sliding part is not against the wall. It feels like I went through the trouble of making it myself, but it was a fun experience! If you wanted to cover a switch but were worried because ready-made products didn't fit, try making one yourself! #BeautifulCover #SelfInterior #DIY #selfinterior #HomeStagram #Frame #FrameInterior #WallDecor #WallShelf #SlidingFrame #IntercomCover #Switch #SwitchCover #SwitchHide #WallPadCover #Follow #FollowersWelcome
