The living room I wanted to turn into a study. Although the indirect lighting, sofa, desk, and chairs haven't arrived yet, I received a call saying the stock would be available in August, so I couldn't wait and am posting this cozy living room in advance. It features a wall unit designed personally by Fabrica CEO Yong Hyun-ho using burr wood, which I've been obsessed with lately. There are many wall units available, such as Rareraw or Dieter Rams, but I wanted to design something unique that would be found only in our home. We installed a roll carpet. When we first moved in, we tried extending the veranda, pushing the sofas together, and placing tables facing each other—we tried various things, but as expected, this is exactly what I wanted from the beginning. Thank you to the CEO of Fabrica for making my dream come true: having the wall itself made of wood, rather than just a wall system unit 🥹 I hope the sofa arrives soon... I can't wait... *sob*... The console under the TV is exactly 57cm high. For this too, I wanted to choose furniture that was uniquely mine, rather than the common modular furniture you see everywhere. However, no matter how much I searched for modular types, they were all over 60cm. So I was thinking of making it myself when I discovered this commercial stainless steel upper cabinet!! The price is very affordable, and although the finish shows visible welding, I can still use it to capture that vibe.
