I added lemon juice to the homemade orange and grapefruit syrup, filled it with sparkling water, and... oh, it's delicious! I didn't even think about carbonated drinks. I've been having sweet dilemmas all summer long wondering what kind of lemonade to make. Normally, it's lemon sparkling water.
