My favorite time of day is the moment I quietly enjoy a cup of coffee ☕️ When I tried IDO’s ‘Seonyul Mug’ this time, I was initially drawn to its beautiful design, but after using it myself, I found the feel in my hand to be truly special. I heard it is a handcrafted mug completed over a whopping 280 hours by a master craftsman with 30 years of experience at IDO’s Ceramic Studio. Perhaps that is why it felt less like a cup and more like holding a small work of art in my hand. The flowing line details of the ‘Seonyul’ line, inspired by traditional weaving, come to life with a subtle three-dimensional quality depending on the light or angle; the more I looked at it, the more charming it became. In particular, the delicate texture felt when cupping it and the soft rim against my lips made this difference even more noticeable, especially since I use the mug every day.
