So, while I was using a different portable speaker temporarily and debating whether to fix it or not, I realized that the repair or replacement cost would just be enough to buy a brand new speaker. So, I bought it... We like speakers that properly reproduce the bass range, and we wanted to experience a new brand other than Bose. After learning about the history of JBL at the recent Odium Museum, we felt drawn to it. After searching online, we found that JBL's sound range is the most similar to existing Bose products, so after much deliberation, we chose it. Ah, the unfamiliar design... made the decision take even longer (my preference is the Geneva line, haha). As soon as it arrived today, I immediately connected it to my LP player, and Yay! It was so good! It has a bass adjustment function, and if you install the app, there are even more hidden features. I'll have to study them gradually.
