There is one place I go to avoid the kids' eyes 😂 It is the kitchen. I prepare meals here, and I use my laptop here too. Maybe because the layout is close to a 'mi' shape, I find the kitchen to be the coziest spot. If I sit in the corner, it takes the kids quite a while to find me 😂 Since the distribution manifold is under the sink, the kitchen floor is the warmest in the winter. So, sometimes I lie down here while cooking.
