Today's Interior Tip: Don't throw things away, swap them out 😉 Since I got a purple room after moving to a new place, I really wanted to color-match everything in purple. ^^; I was considering installing linen curtains in my study to slightly block the view of another house. The white curtains I used in the living room of my previous house suddenly caught my eye. It felt like a waste to buy new ones when I already had perfectly good curtains. But I really wanted to color-match everything in purple, haha. So, in the end, I bought fabric dye online and dyed the curtains myself. Haha. Such persistence. Since it was my first time dyeing fabric, I did a lot of research before giving it a try! The dyeing process felt like a witch performing black magic, lol. Even though it was the middle of winter, I was sweating profusely because I was using hot water. The color definitely seems to fade as I dye it myself. And it's much harder than I thought. I thought about just buying new ones hundreds of times, lol. But after all that hard work, I got purple curtains for just a few thousand won!!
