A desk for my 6-year-old after much deliberation. Should I get a pretty wall shelf plus a desk? Is a motion desk really necessary? Wouldn't a regular desk be enough? It took me four months to make a decision. Children grow faster than expected, and since a desk is a piece of furniture used several times a day, I prioritized whether it would last a long time. What I liked most was that it can be adjusted to different heights, and my child can find a comfortable posture on their own when drawing or reading. I am usually a mom who only buys pretty things for everything else, but for my child, I wanted to create a desk that they could actually use well, rather than just a pretty one. These days, they do their homework, listen to CDs, and draw at the desk.
