After getting married and raising a child, I realized I didn't really have a separate space for my hobbies anymore. A corner next to the bed, houseplants on the child's bookshelf, incense burning in the laundry room while looking out. Although my own proper 'room' is gone, the nooks and crannies hidden throughout the house have now become quite precious hideouts. Especially around sunset, this short moment of gently placing a wooden tray on the windowsill and lighting a stick of incense gives me the strength to wake up the next day.
