Perhaps because the Seonyul Mug is a handcrafted mug created over 280 hours by a master craftsman with over 30 years of experience at IDO’s Ceramic Studio, it possesses a natural charm distinct from lines produced by machines! Inspired by traditional weaving, the lines were created after fine-tuning the proportions and spacing of each individual stroke over a long period of time. They come to life three-dimensionally depending on the viewing angle or the direction of light, giving a new feel depending on the angle :) I love the texture when I wrap my hand around it, and thanks to the wide rim that isn't too thick, it feels comfortable and soft against my lips, making for a great user experience. The thin, wide, round handle also offers a good grip, making it easy to hold :) With a capacity of 280ml, it is the perfect size. Best of all, it is microwave and dishwasher safe, making it incredibly easy and convenient to maintain. It is the perfect daily cup, and it is a cup I find myself reaching for often! Made at the Yeoju Ceramic Workshop under strict quality control, I trust IDO Ceramics' [Seonyul Mug Cup] even more because it is a 100% domestically produced product. It has become my favorite cup, which I use for everything from water to coffee and tea.
