A weekend spent making a lemon pound cake 🍋 A chaotic record of someone baking for the first time in their life •• I don't usually prefer sweet breads, but I decided to try baking for the first time because I was reminded of the moist pound cake from Pals (@pals.coffeekr) that I ate during my trip to Jeju. I thought I could handle it calmly, but the reality was a kitchen total mess—so much so that I couldn't even bring myself to film it! As a baking newbie, I was shocked by the enormous amount of butter and sugar that goes into just that tiny loaf.. 🧈🧈🧈 Still, I'm relieved that it at least takes on the shape of a loaf for my very first baking experience.
