[A Table of Peace: You Are What You Eat] I attended Instructor Moon Sung-hee's Natural Cooking Class as a Today's House Special Class! I often just eat a familiar meal and move on, but this time, I was able to touch seasonal ingredients firsthand and make sushi using vegetable-based ingredients like eggplant, mushrooms, and tofu, allowing me to slowly savor the natural flavors of the ingredients! Placing the sushi on perilla leaves and garnishing it with small edible flowers made it feel like the season was captured in a single plate, which I loved even more! It was fascinating to see how a meal can be deep enough with just the aroma and texture of the ingredients, without complex seasonings.
