DIY Refrigerator Refurbishment with Adhesive Films 📏 I purchased an early Bespoke model about 6 years ago and have been using it, but I received the sad news that the doors for that model have been discontinued and are difficult to replace.😭 However, leaving it as is didn't really suit my home; the shiny pink door just didn't look right. I looked into professional companies, but finding one for appliance refurbishment isn't easy... So, after searching around, I decided on a DIY adhesive film refurbishment! I purchased the refurbishment film from #청베니프. The reason I chose CheongBenif was that I could receive samples in advance. Since it was difficult to determine the exact color just by looking at the screen, I received several samples and held them against the refrigerator cabinet to select the color. Once the color is decided, it's time to start the work in earnest! 1. Measure the size of the refrigerator door. 2. Cut the film leaving about 2cm of margin on both the width and height. 3. Remove the screws at the top of the door and use a suction cup to detach the Bespoke refrigerator door. (You can easily learn how to remove the door by watching the ‘Bespoke Door Replacement’ video on YouTube.) ⭐️ The reason I removed the door was because I wasn't confident in cutting the adhesive film precisely to fit the door with a knife... Instead, I applied it with some extra material and finished by rolling it around the back of the door like wrapping it. 4. Place the adhesive film against a clean door and peel it off little by little while using a scraper to smooth it out—slowly! Very slowly! Apply it. 5. Put the removed door back in its original place, and you're done!
