Before & After This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #OgamReview program. I have always been very interested in home decorating and frequently change furniture and accessories, but I never dared to change the flooring. However, as you can see in the before photos, the existing cold flooring somehow made the room feel bland and bleak, which always left me feeling disappointed. I finally made up my mind and attempted a DIY floor renovation using the 'DIY Cheonil Flame-Retardant Tile Carpet,' and the result was a huge success! Please compare the before and after photos. Simply by changing the flooring, my cold bedroom has transformed 180 degrees into a luxurious and cozy space, just like a hotel! It matched very naturally with my favorite white polka dot bedding and navy dresser, enhancing the overall completeness of the interior. The biggest reason I chose this product was its outstanding quality. While typical carpets from other companies are only 3.5mm thick, the Cheonil carpet is 5.0mm, making it much thicker. Weighing a substantial 649.5g, it adheres firmly to the floor with stability, leaving no gaps. As you can see in the detailed close-up shots where I placed my hands and feet on it, it is woven tightly with high density, providing a firm yet pleasant cushioning sensation when stepped on barefoot or in slippers. The bottom surface is made of 'BITUMEN,' a material created by weaving PP burlap yarn and finishing it with non-woven fabric. This design reduces weight, shrinkage, and expansion while increasing durability. Furthermore, considering the bedroom is a space where we sleep every day, I was most reassured to learn that radon levels are checked during every production run, ensuring safety from radon, a Class 1 carcinogen. You can rest assured even if your skin comes into direct contact with it or you roll around on it. Its high friction prevents slipping, making it perfect for pet owners who need kneecap protection, and it also offers excellent insulation to block out the cold from the floor.
