📍 Entrance Transformation The entrance is the first thing you see when entering the house, but I was always stressed every time I opened the door because of the dull, unappealing tile flooring typical of older buildings. I felt like undertaking a major renovation would be too much of a hassle, so I just bit the bullet and bought the famous Cheonil Flame-Retardant Tile Carpet from Today's House. I am so satisfied that I wonder why I didn't install it sooner. Can you see the difference in the before and after photos? The atmosphere of the entrance has changed 180 degrees. 📍 DIY Installation I was most worried about cutting the carpet, but it is sturdy yet cuts really well—smoothly and easily—with a utility knife. Even around the door frame and curved corners, it fit perfectly after just a few cuts using a ruler, making it incredibly easy to install by myself. It is a level of difficulty where anyone can complete it neatly without any special skills. 📍 Color and Flame Retardancy The ivory color I chose is not a cold white, but a warm and cozy creamy ivory. When the lights are on, the entrance looks incredibly bright and spacious, so I feel happy every time I open the door, as if I’m stepping into a cozy, trendy accommodation. Also, since it is the entryway, I was concerned about fire safety just in case, but since it is a flame-retardant certified product, I felt at ease laying it down. 📍 Adhesion and Maintenance I was worried about dust flying around or tripping over it, but perhaps because the surface is heavy, there is absolutely no slipping. It stays firmly in place even when vacuuming at high speed. It feels soft and cushiony underfoot, so it is great to occasionally sneak out barefoot to pick up packages. If it gets dirty over time, you can simply remove a single sheet to wash or replace it, so maintenance is zero. 📍 Overall Review I never imagined that the first impression of my home could become this warm with such a small amount of money and effort. It offers the best value for money and interior design effect, so I highly recommend it🖤 This is a review based on personal use and styling, provided through the #OgamReview program.
