But after using them, I realized there are definitely some that make you understand exactly why they are considered "national parenting items." 1. Cocoji House When you put the cute Atti characters inside the house, audio plays, so the baby immediately shows interest. Each character has a different story, and even as a mom, I found the stories to be fun and interesting. In particular, the cute Atti characters tell fun songs and stories as if they are having a conversation with the baby, and they emphasize onomatopoeia and mimetic expressions. Since using Cocoji House, my baby doesn't look for videos at all! 😎 2. Saypen Honestly, I wasn't planning on buying this because I wondered if it was really necessary since moms can just read books to their babies themselves. But I received it as a gift and tried it out with some skepticism. However, since visual stimulation is important for young babies, they do enjoy books read by their guardians, but! Since it makes sounds and reacts as soon as you touch it with the toy pen, the baby had fun playing with it just for that reason. Also, reading too many books can be tiring for the caregiver, but since this did that for them, it was much easier for me as a mom lol. 3. Front-facing Bookshelf Reading goes without saying when it comes to building vocabulary. Although I use a regular bookshelf where only the titles are visible, after I took out the front-facing bookshelf where the book covers are exposed, my baby definitely developed a reading habit and their vocabulary increased dramatically. 4. Flyers I didn't show this on purpose, but it's a "national parenting item" (?) that was just as helpful as books ^^ My baby loves looking them up on their own, and thanks to this, we mastered the names of difficult fruits, vegetables, and items sold at the supermarket.
