While installing a monitor arm certainly made the desk look much neater, there is actually something else I am most satisfied with. It is the organization of the power outlets and cables! I originally had a power outlet organizer behind the desk, but with the computer tower, monitor, and various chargers all connected, the space was woefully insufficient. As a result, the cables ended up sticking up onto the desk, which was always an eyesore. So, I bought a mesh net from Daiso, installed it under the desk, and secured the power strip and adapters to it. I also used cable ties to organize and hang up the cables that were scattered here and there all at once. After organizing, the desk looks much neater and is much easier to clean.
