The story of how I ended up making my own storage stool because I absolutely couldn't find the one I wanted 👩‍🎨✨ The IKEA 'PERJOHAN' stool was originally designed to be painted however you like! I spent a long time simulating color combinations I’d always wanted to try by compositing them in ChatGPT, and finally put my plan into action. I used Samhwa water-based paint, and even though I just swipe it on 2 or 3 times without any primer or gesso, the color payoff is incredible..? It turned out with exactly the kitschy and charming vibe I was looking for, so I’m totally satisfied! But I still have a ton of paint left over..? 👀 What should I paint next?
