The water-repellent finish blocks everyday stains, and the surface has a water-repellent coating so drinks don't soak in immediately. I have three cats and my own hair sheds like crazy, but the fur doesn't stick to it easily and brushes off easily. When looking for a rug, the most important things are the design and whether it's easy to manage cat fur. I looked at these two things, and this one totally passed the test 🫶. Don't worry even if your cats run around wildly, since it's a non-slip pad.
