Senses | I had always used built-in appliances, but then I got a washing machine and dryer. They were mine. I just stared at them quietly. It felt fascinating and touching. It reminded me of when I first joined my current company. It was a place I had desperately longed for, but as I worked there, I grew accustomed to it and took it for granted; at times, I even compared it to more glamorous places and harbored complaints. Gratitude fades so easily that I will likely forget this moment before I know it, but when a change or turning point occurs, it will stir my heart again and leave a mark.
