Butter-flavored Kitchen Decorating Tips 🧈 I couldn't give up on this kitchen even though it was really tiny 🥹 So I tried brightening it up with a combination of tile-pattern adhesive film and Peak Paint for the upper and lower cabinets! 🧈 Tile Adhesive Film + White Silicone Finish + Postcards/Stickers Due to my clumsy hands... I spent about two hours peeling and sticking the tile adhesive film on my own to finish it. I covered up the gaps where the seams looked patched up with stickers and postcards! Also, the silicone where the tiles and the sink countertop meet was severely discolored, so I bought white silicone from Daiso to finish it off. Can you see how much brighter it looks compared to the last before photo? Haha. It's a mess, but I was actually satisfied, patting myself on the back for my first DIY project!! 🧈 Unifying Kitchen Items And I believe the finishing touch to a butter-flavored kitchen is the kitchen items! So, I color-coordinated everything from the butter-colored cutting board and wooden shelf to the rubber gloves and soap dish. The rubber gloves are just undyed natural rubber gloves, but the colors were actually quite pretty. Since they are made of a biodegradable material, it gave me peace of mind, which was great. Everyone should try using gloves made of raw rubber! 🧈 Storage Tips Also, you absolutely have to hide the ugly stuff, but if you don't like having kitchen items scattered around, try using small shelves. I have a really small kitchen, but I measured the dimensions and found a shelf that fit. Here's a great tip: if the items in the glass compartments are unsightly, attach cute lace fabric or covers to the inside to block the items from showing through!
