Since it is trapped in a small space with no ventilation, the moisture accumulates inside the cabinet when the mop is drying after cleaning. Naturally, the mop doesn't dry completely, and the smell gets worse... Ultimately, it would be best not to use the cabinet at all, but I couldn't give it up. So I tried running it with the dedicated detergent for Sasosigak, and it definitely makes a difference. The musty smell that used to linger in the house after cleaning is completely gone. Once a smell starts to linger, it is really hard to get rid of it later, so I'm glad I took care of it from the beginning.
