June starts with my birthday. We have celebrated over ten birthdays together since we started dating. This time, we are giving it extra significance as it is our first birthday since the "wedding" event. During our dating days, we used to say, "What's so special about a birthday?" but I think we really tried to make it special for each other with expensive gifts, meals, and trips. Lately, with just the two of us and the two of us dogs, I’ve been getting a strong feeling that we are a team. The time we spend eating, playing, and recharging at home feels so affectionate. So, we decided to spend it at home. Actually, my husband is the type who believes in doing what we are good at rather than trying too hard at things we aren't interested in or bad at. However, he said he would at least set the table for my birthday, and he showed me his cooking skills for the first time in a while. But seriously, this is the first time I've ever seen someone so absorbed in their own cooking while eating it so deliciously.
