To be honest, I always thought only of the function of a trash can and never really considered buying a pretty product. However, since it is an item I see every day, at some point I started to get bothered by how it didn't match the kitchen's atmosphere at all. So, after much deliberation, the product I chose is the Brabantia Botterbean 11+23L Soft Beige. 🤍 I ordered it after a frantic search on Today's House. ⸻ 📦 The package arrived, and… First off, I was surprised by the size of the box. 😂 The moment it was placed right in the entryway, it had quite a presence. “It’s much bigger than I thought?” I thought that, but once I actually installed it, the size wasn’t overwhelming; in fact, it felt quite stable. The packaging was also meticulous, so I didn’t have to worry about damage. ⸻ 🔧 Assembly is really simple. When I opened the box, it contained the main body, legs, and an instruction manual. It was so simple that it was almost embarrassing to call it assembly. Just attach the legs, and you’re done. It was perfectly possible to do it alone, and it required almost no effort. Even I, who am terrible at assembling things, finished it quickly. 😆 ⸻ 🤍 It was much prettier than I expected. Actually, I thought it looked pretty in the photos, but it is even prettier in person. The soft beige color isn't too flashy nor too plain, so I think it will go well with any interior. The moment I placed it in the kitchen, “Huh? It’s a trash can, but why is it so pretty?” That thought crossed my mind. It felt more like a small piece of furniture or an object than a household item. ⸻ 👆 The Bo-Touch method is more convenient than I thought. The lid opens smoothly with just a light touch of your hand. The touch feel was better than I expected, so I found myself opening it a few more times just for no reason. 😂 I was also satisfied that it closes smoothly rather than slamming shut. ⸻ 👍 What I liked most This was my favorite feature. It is the fact that you don't need to bend over. With conventional trash cans, you naturally end up bending over every time you throw something away, but the Bo-Touch Bin has legs, so the height is raised just right. It might seem like a small difference, but after using it several times a day, I found it more convenient than I expected. ⸻ 🗑️ Recycling is also neat The inside is divided into 11L + 23L sections, making it easy to separate general waste from recyclables. It looks like a single, neat trash can from the outside, but the interior is efficiently divided, so I am satisfied with its practicality. ⸻ ✨ After Using It Honestly, looking only at the price, I thought it was on the expensive side for a trash can. However, since it is an item I use every day and see every time I enter the house, my satisfaction level was higher than I expected. I just placed it in one corner of the kitchen, but it makes the space look a bit more organized and tidy.
