3 Kitchen Appliances I Can Confidently Say We Made a Great Purchase, Even as a Single Person Living Alone When living alone, space is limited, and I found myself being incredibly careful when choosing a single item. That is why I tend to select products based on the criteria of "something I can use with satisfaction for a long time" rather than "buying because it's cheap." Today, I’d like to introduce three kitchen appliances that I have been using for several years and have been highly satisfied with. 1. Cuckoo Non-Spin Microwave I used to take it for granted that plates would spin around inside a microwave, but after using a non-spin microwave, I think it will be hard to go back to a regular microwave!! Since there is no turntable, the interior space is much more spacious, and rectangular containers or large plates fit in without any difficulty. When living alone, you end up using the microwave several times a day; given the high frequency of use, these small conveniences felt more significant than I expected. 2. Balmuda The Toaster After using it, I understood why so many people recommend it. It uses a small amount of steam when toasting bread, resulting in a crispy crust and a moist interior. I especially love baguettes, and the best part is being able to enjoy them always crispy! Of course, a toaster might not be an essential appliance, but for someone like me who enjoys spending time at home, it is an item I am extremely satisfied with. 3. Minix Food Waste Disposer This is a product that has truly changed my quality of life. One of the most annoying chores while living alone was dealing with food waste, and I was especially stressed about the smell and bugs during the summer. Since getting the Minix food waste disposer, I can dry and dispose of food waste immediately, making my kitchen much more pleasant. I am also satisfied that I don't have to empty food waste bags as often, and that the area around the sink stays tidy. Before using it, I wondered if I would actually use it that often, but now I consider it one of the best appliances I’ve ever bought. Haha. Even though I live alone, I spend a lot of time at home, so the kitchen is quite an important space for me. I’ve come to realize that for appliances used every day, satisfaction ultimately builds in proportion to how frequently they are used.
