<Semi-DIY Interior in the 10 Million Won Range, Vinyl Flooring Edition 🤍> I simply couldn't stand looking at the shiny brown engineered wood flooring, so I boldly removed it! Since I was short on time, I decided on vinyl flooring that could be installed just one day after removal haha. Honestly, I chose it because of the time constraints, but now that it's laid, I'm totally satisfied...!!!🤍 Vinyl flooring these days is really pretty ㅠㅠ It has a tile-like feel and is so easy to clean, so I was very satisfied! The downsides are that it is prone to dents, and it can look slightly uneven when the sunlight is strong. But it's not very noticeable normally, so I'm satisfied with it despite the blurry view 🥹 ✔️ Semi-DIY Vinyl Flooring Installation Tips 1️⃣ Have the flooring contractor bring it into the house the day before installation and turn on the boiler slightly before starting! They say that as the flooring adapts to the indoor temperature, it naturally flattens out, which helps reduce lifting or wrinkling after installation. 2️⃣ Cleaning the floor one more time before installation! Even if the installer cleans it, if dust or small stone particles remain, they can show up on the vinyl flooring. So, I cleaned it thoroughly one more time using a corded vacuum cleaner I bought on Carrot Market (Danggeun) >< (It almost always breaks down after just one day of cleaning due to the dust, so I recommend getting one from Carrot Market 👍🏻) I chose vinyl flooring because I was short on time, but I'm totally satisfied with it 🤍🤍 💸 For a 34-pyeong space, it cost 900,000 KRW for demolition, 2,300,000 KRW for vinyl flooring, and 500,000 KRW for baseboard installation!
