Just Do These 4 Things When Moving into a New Home (2/2) 🏠 In Part 1, I talked about refurbishing the refrigerator cabinet and the drawers, but, actually, the other two are even more dramatic 😂 Today, we're covering those two 👇 Three. Lighting Replacement Basic lighting tends to look a bit gloomy, doesn't it? Just changing one light fixture can instantly liven up the atmosphere. 💡 But please make sure to pay attention to this one thing. First, compare the size of the existing light canopy (ceiling-mounted cover) with the new light canopy. If the new canopy is smaller, the damaged wallpaper hidden behind the old canopy will be exposed. You need to decide how to cover that area before calling a professional. I didn't know this, so I rushed to Daiso in the morning and covered it with a wooden pot holder lol. I'm still standing on the canopy right now 😇 Four. Middle Door Without one, noise leaks out completely, and the living room is clearly visible as soon as you enter the house. Going for a built-in type makes it much cleaner, but we chose cream-colored opaque glass to match the atmosphere of our home.
