When I wash fruits or vegetables and just leave them sitting on the sink, it's such an eyesore that I want to clean it up quickly. But this one is as elegant as a regular pretty dish, so I feel happy just sitting in a corner of the kitchen..! Even though the heart-shaped hole looks small, it has a concave shape, so the water drains better than I expected. It's great for placing leafy greens for wraps, shabu-shabu, fruit, cold buckwheat noodles, etc., just right on the table, so I highly recommend it. I think I'll reach for this the most in the kitchen, especially as the weather gets warmer. Since we have a family of four and the portions are large, I chose the large size because I thought it would look nice to have some empty space!
