When I was decorating my child's room, having the desk and bookshelf separate made the space look more cluttered than I expected. And the mess was visible everywhere, too. This "With Teacher" desk connects the desk and bookshelf into one unit, making great use of space and keeping the room neatly organized overall! My child can easily take out the books or school supplies they need, and it's convenient for me to sit next to them and help with their homework, so I'm very satisfied with this piece of furniture.
