It’s been so hot lately that I’ve lost my motivation, haha. Since I haven't been cooking much, my refrigerator was practically empty. I wanted to eat healthier myself and make sure the kids get their vegetables, so I went grocery shopping at B-Mart and made a variety of dishes to stock up! First off, I made three large batches of my favorite summer side dish, seasoned cucumbers. It tasted even better when I added plenty of medicinal chives and mixed them in 💚 I also blanched some tofu, which the kids love, and put away some peas, which is my eldest's favorite side dish :) I cut up some Napa cabbage to steam with beef brisket later.
