#돈아깝지않은시공 When I moved in 6 years ago, I didn't have a large budget, so I only did basic interior renovations. However, I really didn't like the layout of the kitchen, so I just couldn't bring myself to give it up. Considering it was a long U-shaped kitchen, the island only had two sections, so there wasn't enough space to place storage cabinets and a dining table on the opposite side. So, I shouted, "I absolutely have to change this!" and went ahead with it. 😎 We extended the length of the island and built a half-wall along it. 🔎 Reasons for This Construction 🔎 1. I wanted the half-wall to hide small items, making the view from the living room to the kitchen look neat. 2. I wanted the dining area to feel cozy and comfortable with a half-wall that seems to embrace the table. 3. To create a sense of space separation with a low half-wall, capturing both stability and openness simultaneously. 4. To secure enough length for the island to add an oven cabinet and expand the cooking area.
